AMRI Hospitals - Staff Nurse/Shift Incharge/Nursing Supervisor (1-7 yrs)

GNM / B.Sc (N) candidates are required for critical care area (ICU, PICU, NICU, Neuro ICU). These positions are for AMRI Hospitals Ltd, Kolkata.

PATIENT CARE :

1. Recognizing and analyzing the patients needs.

2. Assessing, planning and implementing total patient care.

3. Utilizing available resources in delivering patient care.

4. To deliver care using the nursing process, setting priories in the delivery of care.

5. Including the family members of patients in planning and giving patient care.

6. Evaluating his/her performance in relation to patient care.

7. Maintaining appropriate patient care records (case files).

8. Recognizing the legal implications in nursing practice and follows policies as laid down by the Nursing service.

9. Intelligently participating in the Medical Surgical Management of patient care and treatment.

LIAISON AND COMMUNICATION :

1. Supporting the hospital policies and procedures.

2. Attending nursing meetings and adhering to the decisions.

3. Acting as a liaison between patient, family and hospital personnel

4. Keeping good IPR with colleagues and Medical / Para Medical Non - Medical staff.

WARD MANAGEMENT :

1. Knowing and implementing in general hospital and ward policy and routines.

2. To maintain loyalty and explaining hospital policy.

3 Ensuring a conducive environment for patient in the ward and its cleanliness.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL :

1. Being a role model.

2. Maintaining current trends in nursing practice and management through continuing education and self-development efforts.

3. Possessing clear understanding and commitment to the Philosophy of AMRI Hospital Ltd.

4. Assisting the ward-teaching programme.

5. Helping to train non - professional staff.

6. To adhere to the Dress Code of Nursing Staff prescribed from time to time.

7. To follow the Service Rules of the Hospital from time to time.

QUALITY ASSURANCE :

1. Participation in Quality Assurance Programme.

2. Identification of unsafe care practices and contributes to corrective action.
