Location : Retail Health, Personal Accident & Travel Underwriting. Handling pre-policy activities Reports to : Senior Manager/ Deputy General Manager - Health Insurance
Job Scope / Position Summary
Main Responsibility Key Result Area :
1 Underwriting of Retail Health, Personal Accident & Travel proposals. Ensuring uniformity in quality & maintain TATs of Underwriting decisions, Preparing Group Retail health & Group Travel quotes within TAT Underwriting of individual health, PA & travel (retail & corporate)proposals
2 Processing of Non Disclosures/Frauds. Non Disclosures/frauds
3 Portability proposals, updation on IRDA portal. IRDA portal
4 Handling Sales / branch queries preferred along with cross functional stake holder management, Communications with branches, Training the new team members -product information, Underwriting & Pre-Policy processes Stakeholder Management
5 UAT`s and System development System Development
6 Involvement in Internal and External Audits Audits
7 Manual review &policy issuance -scrutiny of the proposals & further issuance of policies beyond the authority limit of the branch. Policy Issuance
Qualification and Experience Requirement
Education : Medical Professional (BAMS/BHMS /BDS)
Experience : 0 to 05 years of experience in Retail health Insurance UW or claims or TPA / Fresher and with basic skills in MS office
