- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continual improvement of the biochemistry curriculum, ensuring it remains current with advances in the field.
- Student Mentoring: Provide academic and career mentoring to undergraduate and graduate students, including supervising independent research projects and theses.
- Advising: Act as a faculty advisor for students, offering guidance on coursework, career pathways, and research opportunities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education: MBBS MS/MD
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of postdoctoral experience and prior academic experience at the rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent, with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence and independent research.
Research: A proven track record of high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals and a history of successful grant funding.
Teaching: Experience in teaching biochemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with strong communication and pedagogical skills.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to contribute to departmental and institutional leadership through service on academic committees, student mentorship, and faculty collaboration.
Preferred:
