Associate/Senior Associate - Medical Billing (2-5 yrs)

Timings: US shift (6:00 PM to 3:30 AM)

Responsibilities:
1) Initiate calls requesting the status of claims in a queue.
2) Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments
3) Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution.
4) Ensure accurate and timely follow-up where required.
5) Document actions are taken in claims billing summary notes
6) To prioritize the pending claims for calling from the ageing basket to make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
7) Responsible for working on Denials, Rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims
Experience :
1) Good voice and demonstrate professional demeanour via phone.
2) Must have 3 + yrs of experience in US Healthcare stream in AR
3) Good organizational skills demonstrating the ability to execute timely follow-up.
4) Ability to do multitasking.
5) Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of health care claim processing.
