Biochemistry Professor - Medical College (1-8 yrs)
A Biochemistry Medical Professor teaches and guides medical students in understanding the biochemical basis of human health and disease, conducts research, and participates in clinical-laboratory academic activities within a medical college.
Teaching & Academic Duties:
- Teach MBBS, BDS, Allied Health Sciences, and Postgraduate (MD Biochemistry) students.
- Deliver lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, and small-group teaching.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and laboratory manuals.
- Conduct internal assessments, viva, OSPE/OSCE, and university exam duties.
- Guide research projects and student seminars.
Teaching Responsibilities:
- Teach MBBS 1st-year students core biochemistry topics (metabolism, molecular biology, enzymology, genetics, nutrition, clinical biochemistry).
- Deliver theory lectures and conduct practical laboratory sessions.
- Prepare teaching materials, PowerPoints, practical manuals, and student assessments.
- Guide students in problem-based learning (PBL) and case-based discussions (CBD).
- Supervise internal exams, university exams, and viva voce.
