Desired Skills :
- Hands-on experience in medical codesets such as DRG, CPT, HCPCS, ICD 9&10 Diagnosis, and procedures.
- Work experience in medical coding specialties like Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
- Should have worked on claims, EHR/EMR datasets; CMS (Medicare) would be an added advantage.
- Possess good knowledge of Medicare fee schedules, claim adjudication, status indicators, and different provider settings.
- A foundation of knowledge in Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies and Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR).
- Well versed in Excel formulas & SQL.
- Have basic proficiency in Statistics.
Responsibilities :
- Should able to communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Should research and collect different healthcare codesets such as DRG, CPT, HCPCS, ICD 9&10 Diagnosis and procedures based on the client requirements to perform data analysis.
- Should validate the internal data analysis with external references like Pubmed, HCUP, CMS, and others.
- Should gather requirements from clients and design analysis reporting templates.
Education Qualifications :
- BPT, MPT, BHMS, BAMS, Nursing, BPharm, MPharm, Biotechnology, Biochemistry.
- Business analyst/Data analyst from a Healthcare domain.
