Job Description:
The Consultant Cardiac Surgeon will be responsible for performing cardiac surgeries, including bypass surgeries, valve repairs and replacements, and other advanced cardiac procedures. The role includes pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, operative management, and post-operative care. The surgeon will work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and the cardiac care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and determine surgical treatment plans
- Perform cardiac surgeries with high standards of safety and precision
- Oversee pre- and post-operative patient management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital protocols and quality guidelines
- Contribute to teaching or training activities if required
