Position: Cath Lab Technician /OT Technician
Typical duties of the job include:
1. Patient Assessment and Preparation
These profiles who work in a catheter laboratory assist physicians with patient assessments. They prepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation and cardiac procedures. Preparation of patients can include taking the patient's vital signs, oxygen levels and heart rhythm before the physician examines the patient. These Profiles ensure the patient's chart and records are updated. These Profile responsible begin an intravenous line while preparing patients for a catheterization or cardiac procedure. They help ease the patient's fear and answer questions regarding the procedure. Cath lab Assistant obtain patient consent for procedures.
2. Assisting Physicians
They assist physicians during catheterization procedures, angioplasties, pacemaker implantation and other cardiac procedures. They closely monitors the patient's vital signs during the procedure. Patients may be awake during the procedure, which requires the cath lab nurse/Assistant to help keep them calm and reassured. They medicateaccording to the physician's instructions before, during and after the procedures. In addition to scheduled procedures in the cath lab, they must assist during emergencies and perform lifesaving procedures.
Qualification: Certificate/ Diploma.
Experience: 0 to 2 years (higher experience also consider)
Package: Negotiable (Depends upon the experience)
