Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Care and Treatment:

- Provide primary medical care, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

- Manage emergency medical situations, including stabilizing patients and coordinating evacuations if necessary.

2. Occupational Health:

- Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations to assess fitness for work.

- Monitor and manage occupational health risks, including exposure to hazardous materials and conditions.

- Implement and oversee health surveillance programs

3. Health Promotion and Education:

- Develop and deliver health education programs to promote wellness and prevent illness among employees.

- Advise employees on lifestyle changes and preventive measures to improve their overall health.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with local health regulations and company policies.

- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.

- Prepare and submit health and safety reports as required by the company and regulatory authorities

5. Emergency Response and Preparedness:

- Develop and maintain emergency medical response plans.

- Train and lead medical emergency response teams.

- Ensure the availability and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the HSE team to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.

- Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists as needed.

- Provide guidance and support to onsite healthcare staff, such as nurses and paramedics.

7. Must have completed AFIH (ASSOCIATE FELLOW OF INDUSTRIAL HEALTH) course.

8. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution

9. Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

10. Specialization in occupational health, emergency medicine, or general practice is preferred.

11. Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

12. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a clinical.
