Clinical Coding Role (3-7 yrs)
Essential Functions:
The following duties represent the job duties however they are not all inclusive:
- Prepare Project specific coding guidelines.
- Review of coded data points as per the sponsor recommendations or as per project specific Coding Guidelines for all codable data points which includes but not limited to Adverse Events, Concomitant Medication, Concomitant Medication Indications, Medical History etc
- Review and send Manual queries raised by Medical Coders about related data points to the PL for resolution.
- Prepare list of Non-codable terms before study closure for Sponsor review and approval
- Development and Review of SOPs.
- Train the coding team on SOPs, Project specific Coding Guidelines and conventions.
- Provide inputs on development and updates of SOPs
- Handle sponsor communication for coding related issues.
- Coordinate to upgrade available dictionary versions and validate the procured dictionaries.
- Ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department
Experience: 3 - 7 years
Qualification: Postgraduate/graduate in any branch of Life Science/Pharmaceuticals
Skills :
- Worked with MedDRA Browser, WHODD, Veeva Vault and J Review
- Should have worked in Oncology
