Job Description of Clinical Psychologist in Gurgaon

Qualification Requirements:

Mandatory: Postgraduate in psychology with some clinical exposure

Desirable: M. Phil in clinical Psychology with preferably RCI license

- Preferably with Minimum 2 years- experience

- Experience in IAF Boarding centre

- Open for Travel

1. Work in close coordination with the medical team of Flight safety. To directly report to the Chief Medical officer.

2. Work in coordination with Medical Team, HR and Flight Ops for selection of Aircrew ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy of methods used to verify the selection results.

3. To plan and conduct periodic training/teaching for healthy habits and preventive actions to promote overall mental health of crew/other staff.

4. To empathize with wide range of people and encourage help seeking behaviors in them.

5. To help in managing the data base of the personality and the cognitive profiles of crew.

6. To engage in conducting mental state examination and interview in the standard procedure on crew/staff referred or self-walk-in.

7. To maintain strict confidentiality and strive to develop positive environment.

8. To engage in administering, scoring and interpretation of psychological tests for reaching an informed diagnosis, based on scientific knowledge and medical history of staff.

9. To support medical team in deciding fitness to fly after a through evaluation for psychopathology or underlying psychiatric illness.

10. To engage in appropriate counselling/psychotherapy of crew/staff and families (as per the case/need). Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation or treatment.

11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
