Consultant - Anesthesia - Hospital - MBBS/MD/DNB (2-5 yrs)
Job Title: Consultant - Anesthesia (with Pain Management Experience)
Location: Chennai
Position Type: Full-time | Immediate Joiner Preferred
Qualification:
- MD/DNB in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Fellowship/experience in Pain Management preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2- 5 years post MD/DNB experience in Anesthesia & Pain Management.
- Exposure to perioperative care, critical care, and advanced pain management techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Manage acute and chronic pain patients (interventional and non-interventional techniques).
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluation and care.
- Assist surgical teams in OT with safe anesthesia practices.
- Participate in pain clinics, multidisciplinary rounds, and patient counseling.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, quality, and patient safety guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in regional blocks, spinal/epidural, and advanced pain interventions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies independently.
