Responsibilities:
- Clinical Areas
- Provide consultation, counselling and feedback to the patients.
- Diagnose the cause of infertility and work out a treatment plan.
- Monitor patient's progress during the treatment.
- Perform appropriate surgical procedures (Hysteroscopy, Laparoscopy etc) & OP procedures like Flush, Endometrial scratch, Biopsies & other procedures as per the protocol.
- Carry out Oocyte retrieval.
- Carry out Embryo transfers.
- Problem solving/trouble shooting within the Medical Function.
- Make day to day clinical decisions, as per the protocols.
- Ensuring patient safety, confidentiality at all times.
- Adherence to the protocols given by the MD.
- To bring forward creative ideas within the medical function or for any aspect of patient treatment/care.
- Propose improvements to protocols and procedures.
- Facilitate own training under and perform relevant research projects the direction of the Medical Director.
- Publication of research papers and journals.
- Facilitate weekly academic sessions.
- Mentor fellows pursuing fellowship in reproductive medicine through OSHERM and FNB.
- Maintain accurate and clear medical records, update ARTis with patient records.
- Any other responsibility entrusted by Manager / Management from time to time
- Travel to all our centres basis requirement as instructed by Medical Director.
- Management Areas
- Conduct regular meetings with the Centre Manager / Regional Manager regarding centre's activities.
- Participate in marketing and business development initiatives (like CME, TV interviews etc).
- Train team members.
- Conflict management of team members.
Skills & Qualification:
- Degree in MS (OBGYN), DGO (OBGYN), DNB (OBGYN) with a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine
- Outstanding spoken, written and listening skills.
- Attention to detailing.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Academically driven
