Consultant - Internal Medicine - Hospital - MD (2-14 yrs)
1. Complete frequent daily Patient visits
2. Supervise Nursing Staff
3. Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans
4 Order referrals for diagnostic testing with other medical providers
5. Accurately Chart patient treatment plan
6. Prescribe appropriate drugs to patients, as treatment plans dictate
7. Explain procedures in simple terms to patients and family members before and after procedures
8. Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, & prevention
9. Provide health and wellness advice to patients.
10. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
11. Advise surgeon of a patient's risk status and recommend appropriate intervention to minimize risk.
12. To help formulate Infection control policy of the hospital. Help in ICU as needed.
13. Preparation of Drug Formulary for the hospital.
