Consultant - Neurologist - DM/DNB - Hospital (0-1 yrs)
- Dealing with disorders of the nervous system.
- To investigate/diagnose and treat neurological disorders.
- To diagnose, treat, and manage the care of patients suffering from disorders of the nervous system.
- To be involved in diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems (and their subdivisions, the autonomic and somatic nervous systems), including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effecter tissue, such as muscle.
- Diagnose and treat the diseases of a patient's brain as well as any impairment to the spinal cord, nervous system, muscles and blood vessels that are associated with any of these structures.
- They will be treating patients by diagnosing and determining treatment by examining the patient's brain and neck nerves, muscle strength, movement, balance and reflexes.
- To treat disorders of brain trauma, stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease among others.
