Consultant - Neurosurgeon - MBBS/M.Ch (0-4 yrs)
Job Summary:
As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care for patients with neurological disorders. You will diagnose, manage, and perform surgical interventions for conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform complex surgical procedures including, but not limited to, craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and manage postoperative care.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other specialists, including neurologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies.
Education & Training:
- Mentor and train junior medical staff, residents, and medical students.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery.
Research & Development:
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic publications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurosurgery and implement best practices in clinical care.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Medical degree (MBBS + M.Ch).
- Completion of residency in neurosurgery.
