Consultant - Pathologist - Hospital - DNB/MD (1-5 yrs)
Consultant Pathologist (Full time)
Candidate Profile :- DNB/MD Pathology with 1to 5 years relevant experience. Should have worked in all departments like - Hematology, Clinical Path, Biochemistry, Serology, Immunology, Cytology, Micro (Histopath is optional). Job Timings: 8 hrs (between 1 pm to 9pm).
Job Description : Position based at Pune.
- To be responsible for adequate well trained staff available for the department based on the scope of tests, complexity of tests and volume of work in the department
- To be responsible for the adequacy, rotation & training, maintaining training records and conduct retraining and reassessment of his/ her team when necessary
- To provide department wise asset register (fixed & medical consumables) and to ensure physical check every 15 days
- To review daily IQC, EQC, Inter-lab & Intra-lab comparison, maintenance of QC records with CA/PA (corrective and preventive actions)
- To provide monthly QC review with QA representative and ensure periodic department audits
- To update and review test SOP's and communicate to the Lab Technicians.
- To ensure implementation of the defined processes
- To identify need for adding new tests in scope
- To maintain TAT, errors logs, critical values, sample rejection, clinical correlation, sample retention and discard and to follow other documented protocols
- To monitor STAT & Pending list
- To maintain installation, calibration & AMC records
- To record instrument breakdown with CA/PA, validation of new kit with records
- To do microscopy wherever applicable
- To be responsible for authentication of reports
- To conduct internal training of staff
- To be available for doctor connect, CME's and QCM's as and when required
- To attend to patient complaints and feedback and to take necessary CA/PA
