Consultant - Radiology - MD/DNB/DMRD (1-8 yrs)
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to diagnose illnesses and injuries Consult with referring physicians to discuss patients medical histories and determine the best imaging techniques for their cases Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports and communicate findings effectively to other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and train radiologic technologists and other staff in performing imaging procedures Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment plans Adhere to patient safety and radiation protection protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Provide guidance and support to other medical staff in understanding and interpreting imaging results Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications : Medical Degree with MD in Radiology Board certification in Radiology (DNB/DMRD) Expertise in interpreting X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
