Position - Consultant Renal Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care
Experience - Any (all consider)
Qualification - FNB/DM - Liver Transplant Anaesthesia nd Critical Care/ DA/DNB/MD - Anaesthesia with Organ Transplant Experience and DM in Organ Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care + experience in Renal Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care.

Job Description:
- This post will be part of a team of Consultant that work flexibly across the full range of anaesthesia services to the Renal Unit:
- Pre-operative assessment of patients for complex hepatobiliary surgery, predominantly for cancer of the Renal or Kidney.
- Pre-operative assessment of patients for Renal transplantation
- Peri-operative management of hepatobiliary and transplant patients, including near patient coagulation monitoring, inotropic and in theatre renal support, management of massive haemorrhage and use of invasive monitoring.
- Attendance at Urology/HPB and Renal Transplant audit and governance meetings
- On call for Renal transplantation/Urology emergencies, rota 1/7 with some flexibility.
- The appointee will be expected to participate in all aspects of clinical governance as developed by the Trust to monitor, maintain and develop the quality and effectiveness of care.
