- As a dental assistant, you are responsible for providing your patients with high quality, compassionate care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and exam room duties.
- Some functions include preparing the patient for a procedure or exam, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays/materials, and assisting during dental procedures.
