Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCOUNTABILITIES - ACTIVITIES

1. Medical Administration and service management

- Supervise daily administrative operations

- Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures.

- Ensure prompt ordering and stocking of medical and office supplies

- Answer queries from doctors, nurses and healthcare staff.

- Managing daily work roster and ensuring its effective implementation

- Manage and monitor the patient admission including the medical records

2. HR and vendor management

- Maintain and organized employee records including time keeping, leaves and attendance

- Monitor administrative staffs performance as well as train new employees.

- Manage, Monitor and control the administrative as well as financial aspect of different vendors involved in routine management of centre.

- Work closely with it HR and Foundation team on different work process.

3. Medical compliance as well as Legalities

- Keep close track of all medico-legal compliance associated with operations of centre

- Support and Advise the Medical Director on different medico-legal compliances to be undertaken and completed

- Work closely with it Foundation legal team.

4. Other Related Issues pertaining to effective running of the centre

- Assist in budget preparation as well as ensuring close tracking of spending.

- Assisting different line dept. for their requirement including visitor management

- Assisting with other administrative functions at the centre including IT, Housekeeping etc.

A. Made by Jobholder:

1. Effective management and administrative operation of the centre within the defined processes and protocol provided.

2. Developing institutional policies and working procedures including SOPs to ensure smooth medical and administrative operations[MD1] .

B. Recommendations to superior:

1. Various best practices pertaining to the field of health admin and management.

2. To recommend of effective budgetary and human resource maximization.

- Other medical institutions.

3. DIMENSIONS:

- Financial Dimension: Limited and as decided by management.

Other Dimension:

- Strong ability to build relationships, interface with a large number of people and network with people and institutions working in the space.

- Awareness of Medical Admin, financial performance and their technical details

- Multi-tasking and working under pressure

- Resolve potential issues with patients/Relatives & stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations

Positive Profile :

- Proven work experience as a Hospital Administration Manager, Medical Office Manager or similar role

- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital industry

- Detailed Understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations

- Hands-on experience with database systems and MS Excel

- Basic accounting skills

- Familiarity with medical transcription

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to supervise and train team members

- Problem-solving attitude

- A degree in Medicine and in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or relevant field with past experience in similar role.

- Year of experience- At least 5 year work experience with similar role, post completion of medical degree will be desirable.
