Key responsibilities include :

Patient Care

1. Responding to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate;

2. Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality;

Process Orientation

3. Understand the working of telemedicine based primary health care

4. Attending mandatory in house training programs to be certified Telemedicine General Physician. This may require individual to undergo web-based and other training programs. This will be followed by a tele-medical licensing examination which has to be cleared in order to start working.

5. Be open to peer review and receiving feedback from trainers & supervisor

Job Knowledge :

6. To practice evidence based medicine with empathy

7. Promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals;

Documentation : 

8. To have proficiency in using Patient Management System and maintain all patient related records

9. Keeping up to date with medical developments, new drugs, treatments and medications, including complementary medicine;

10. Maintaining a portfolio of continuing medical education (CME) activities.

11. Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.

12. Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary virtual medical care team, supporting the philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of every patient.

13. To ensure that ethical Medical practice is followed.

14. To ensure clear and prompt communication

Most Important Demands :

1. Educational background- Must have done MBBS from a medical college of repute which should be followed by a clinical experience of at least 1 year

2. Able to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal means.

3. Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluation of situations and/or making clinical decisions.

4. Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and utilize approved response methods.

5. Aptitude to serve patient through technology.

6. Should be a team player

7. To be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies and practices

8. Ability to work in a shift duty serving the organization 24- 7 as per work requirement.
