Job Description :
Anesthesiologist is a medical doctor specialized in administering anesthesia to patients for surgeries. They are responsible for monitoring and evaluating patient care throughout the surgical process, ensuring their safety and providing continuous assessment before, during, and after the procedure.
- An anesthesiologist is responsible for taking care of patients before, during, and after a medical or surgical process by making sure that anesthesia is correctly and properly administered to patients.
- His/her job description entails looking after patients to make sure that complications do not arise, and to also ensure the comfort of patients at all times.
- Usually, the anesthesiologist meets with patients to discuss and find out more about their medical history and to evaluate patients- condition (this normally takes place before the commencement of any form of surgery or sensitive treatment).
- In the process of evaluating a patient's condition, the anesthesiologist makes sure that he/she fully explains the entire surgical/treatment procedure to the patient so as to make him/her know and understand what to expect, and also be psychologically prepared for the whole procedure. nterpretation of diagnostic test result

- Emergency cardioversion defibrillation

- Invasive ventilation
- Paediatric and adult ventilatory management
- Ensuring continuous medical cover for all patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit
- Discussion of management with consultant surgeons, physicians
- Appropriate documentation of medical history and progress in patients notes;
- Prescription and update of therapeutic plans;
