Dairy Management :

1. Ability to advice farmers on dairy management techniques

2. Identify gaps in the current management practices adapted by the dairy farmers and provide suitable solutions to adapt to suggested practices

3. In depth understanding on reproduction management of cattle, both theoretical and application

4. Cost and benefits of dairy management

5. In depth understanding on feed and fodder management for cattle

6. Demonstrated experience in advising dairy farms or practice

7. Disease identification and management of cattle

8. Support technology team to develop solutions by application of practical knowledge and insights from experience

9. Develop network of veterinarians to reach farmers through technology

10. Impart training to stakeholders in dairy management techniques either in-person or leveraging technology

Technology :

1. He/She should be technology savvy or strong inclination to deploy technology

2. Basic knowledge on word/excel/power point etc..,

3.Advice technology team to develop solutions to solve problems of dairy farmers

Market access and networking:

1. Reach out to personal and professional network to create market for the product

2. Develop rapport with medium dairy farmers to assist in - techno-commercial sale- of the solution

Educational Qualifications :- M.V.Sc ( Livestock Production Management) or B.V.Sc with experience

Experience:- Minimum of 3-5 years- experience as a veterinarian

Knowledge/Skills required:

- In depth theoretical and practical domain knowledge

- Professional expertise to identify and recommend solutions to dairy farmers

- Proficiency in English, Tamil and Hindi

- Access to latest development in veterinary science and dairy management solutions

- Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
