ER Manager - Emergency Department (7-9 yrs)

Job Description :

1. Handle all the operational activities in Emergency Department.

2. Have worked in hospital with minimum 200 beds.

3. Responsible to coordinate with ambulance drivers, paramedics, doctors, department staff for their prompt and quality service to patients.

4. Responsible for proactive management of problems for patients, doctors, and department staff including ambulance personnel.

5. Responsible to plan and organize ambulances for long trips to receive patients.

6. Verify the cash collection from out-patients.

7. Check the emergency call register and attend the calls.

8. Check the daily register and verify the number of trips/ambulance, the distance covered by each ambulance.

9. Plan and prepare indents for the material requirements of all ambulances. Send the indents to concerned departments.

10. Complete assistance for all the activities pertaining to the department of emergency medicine

11. Duty Roster for PRE's.

12. Leave management for 7 PRE's.

13. Ambulance Audits (Mechanical & Equipment related) - Monthly basis along with ER HOD.

14. Outstation Emergency Pick ups coordination and also Marketing Calls for Emergency Patient Pick ups

15. To address the concerns & grievances of Paramedics & PRE's.

16. Ambulance arrangements for marketing camps.

17. Responsible for coordinating with other departments for the smooth functioning of the operations in the department and to ensure utmost customer satisfaction.

18. Should maintain a very good rapport with consultants, patients and patient attendants. Undertaking relevant human resource activities.

19. Conducting performance appraisals for personnel under and proposing increments / promotions for them.

20. Identifying training needs & implementing the required trainings of the subordinates and department personnel.

21. Responsible for organizing technical training for all the categories of employees of the hospital.

22. Follow up of LAMA calls.

23. Preparing monthly MIS and maintaining the relevant data.

24. Maintaining the monthly ER KPI's and any discrepancies in data immediately escalating to the ER HOD and submitting to the quality and updating in medblaze.

25. Maintenance of MLC records & submission of the report to MRD.

26. To handle end to end day care admissions till submission of the case sheets to MRD.

27. Others: Any other jobs assigned by superior due to exigencies of work.

Qualification : Any Graduate, Masters in Health Care Management (preferred)

Experience : 7-9 years
