Job Responsibilities:

- Lead the development, scale-up, testing, technology transfer, process characterization, process validation, and support manufacturing campaigns.

- Lead and manage the Research and Development team, providing guidance and mentorship to foster scientific excellence.

- Formulate and optimize probiotic products to address stress management, immunomodulation, health and wellness, and biosecurity challenges in the poultry industry.

- Conduct and oversee laboratory experiments to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of probiotic strains in addressing specific challenges.

- Generate accurate documentation of experimental data, protocols, and reports.

- Analyse and interpret experimental results, providing scientific recommendations for product improvement and innovation.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate research findings and product concepts.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling scientific content for product promotion.

- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams, contributing to training initiatives.

- Identify and explore opportunities for innovation and diversification into new businesses within the same field, expanding our product portfolio and market presence.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements and scientific discoveries in the field of probiotics and related areas.

- Collaborate with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to leverage their expertise and resources for research and development projects.

Candidate Preference:

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in probiotic research and development, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation.

- PhD or master's degree in microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.

- Strong technical proficiency in probiotic strain selection, formulation, and product development.

- In-depth knowledge of stress management, immunomodulation, and biosecurity challenges in the poultry industry.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex scientific concepts.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable research and development plans.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive scientific excellence and innovation.
