Job Description :

- To attend any new patient (admission) immediately.

- Examine the patient under the supervision of the consultants.

- Take history, record vitals, and document notes on behalf of the consultant.

- Do dressings and provide advice to the patient communicate to the patient and family as directed by the consultant as per the directions of the consultant involved in the treatment.

- Assist in procedures and surgeries.

- Oversee the investigations ordered on inpatients, provide information to inpatients on timing of procedures, directions and advice before the procedure, follow up instructions.

- Associate with patient rounds along with the consultant and perform specific action under the supervision of the doctors such as removal of sutures, dressings.

- Instruct the nursing staff about the necessary orders to be carried out.

- Inform the respective consultants and carry out their orders. Inform the nursing staff about any changes in the line of treatment.

- To follow up with all the investigations to be seen and trace their results. Inform the Registrar/ consultant. Note down investigation results in the investigation sheet. Inform the consultant about PANIC VALUES and implement their orders immediately.

- To attend patients complaints. To calm the patients if they are apprehensive. Inform the consultant if needed.

Salary : INR 1,25,000 - 2,75,000 P.A.
