Gastroenterologist - Hospital (0-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, IBD (Crohns and ulcerative colitis), hepatitis, colon polyps, and GI cancers.
- Perform diagnostic procedures like endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and ERCP.
- Develop treatment plans based on patient evaluations, lab tests, and imaging.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans, MRI, blood tests, and biopsy results.
- Educate patients about preventive care and dietary changes to improve GI health.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals such as surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
- Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology and attend medical conferences.
