Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General & Laparoscopic Surgeon to join our surgical team. The candidate should be proficient in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of general surgical conditions and must have hands-on experience in performing minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency evaluations.
- Perform general surgical and advanced laparoscopic procedures including:
- Laparoscopic appendectomy
- Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
- Hernia repairs (TAPP/TEP)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy
- Handle trauma and emergency surgeries when required.
- Coordinate with anesthesiologists, physicians, and post-op care teams.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care and counseling to patients and families.
- Maintain proper clinical documentation and discharge summaries.
- Participate in surgical audit, CME programs, and quality assurance activities.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors and surgery residents if applicable.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Fellowship or diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS, FMAS, etc.)
- Experience in surgical gastroenterology or day-care surgeries.
- Familiarity with NABH protocols and EMR systems.
