General Physician - MD (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
- Patient Consultations : Conduct consultations with patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and provide advice and guidance on maintaining good health and preventing illness
- Medical Examinations : Perform routine medical examinations, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and x-rays
- Treatment Planning : Develop treatment plans for patients that may include prescribing medication, making referrals to specialists, and advising on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise
- Medical Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Documents all patient health information, such as medical history, examination findings, and investigation results, in the electronic medical record, in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinates and implements specialist referral recommendations as appropriate and necessary
- Advises and educates patients concerning diet, medication usage, and methods for prevention of disease
- Works with the Nurse Care Coordinator to design a partnership for long-term health care with every patient
- They should have a strong knowledge of common medical conditions and their treatments, as well as an understanding of medical ethics and laws
