General Surgeon & Laparoscopic - Healthcare - MBBS/MS/DNB (1-5 yrs)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Surgeon with strong expertise in Laparoscopic (Minimally Invasive) Surgery to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in performing laparoscopic procedures and general surgeries with precision and efficiency, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures, including appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and other GI surgeries.
- Specialize in Laparoscopic Surgeries (basic and advanced level).
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and diagnostic teams for holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical discussions, surgery review meetings, and CMEs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and medical ethics.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in EMR or case files.
- Participate in training junior doctors, surgical assistants, or residents, if applicable.
Qualification & Skills Required:
- MBBS + MS (General Surgery) or DNB in General Surgery
- Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 1- 5 years of post-PG clinical and surgical experience
- Strong clinical decision-making and operative skills
- Excellent communication, patient counseling, and team coordination
- Ability to handle emergency trauma or acute surgical conditions
Additional Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in day-care laparoscopic surgeries
- Exposure to GI, breast, thyroid, or soft tissue surgeries
- Willingness to participate in camps, health talks, or outreach programs
- Familiarity with NABH/JCI protocols and EMR systems
- Compensation: Competitive salary/remuneration as per industry standards (fixed + performance-based incentives). Commensurate with experience.
