Gynaecologist (1-2 yrs)
Designation - Gynaecologist
Salary: 1.50 Lakh per month salary (+sharing of business)
Qualification: Should be MBBS with DGO or MD Obs & Gynae Degree
1. Routine Checkups and Screenings: Conducting regular physical exams, such as pelvic exams, breast exams, and Pap smears to screen for cervical cancer, infections, and other reproductive system abnormalities.
2. Diagnosing and Treating Conditions: Identifying and managing various reproductive health issues like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and menstrual disorders.
3. Pregnancy and Childbirth Care: Providing prenatal care, monitoring the health of both the mother and fetus, assisting in labor and delivery, and managing complications during childbirth.
4. Fertility and Conception: Offering consultations on fertility issues, performing fertility tests, providing treatments for infertility, and assisting with reproductive technologies like IVF (in vitro fertilization).
5. Menopause Management: Assisting women in managing symptoms related to menopause, such as hormonal changes, osteoporosis prevention, and offering guidance on hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
6. Surgical Procedures: Performing gynecological surgeries like hysterectomies, removal of ovarian cysts, tubal ligation (for permanent contraception), and surgeries for cancers of the reproductive organs.
7. Patient Education: Educating women about reproductive health, contraception options, healthy sexual practices, and preventive care measures.
8. Counseling on Lifestyle and Health: Providing advice on diet, exercise, mental health, and lifestyle factors that affect reproductive health, including sexual and emotional wellness.
9. Collaborating with Other Healthcare Professionals: Working with other specialists such as urologists, oncologists, and endocrinologists when a patient's condition requires multidisciplinary care.
10. Record-Keeping and Follow-Up: Maintaining accurate medical records, following up on diagnostic tests and treatments, and ensuring continuity of care for patients.
These responsibilities make gynecologists essential in the overall healthcare system, particularly in promoting women's reproductive health and well-being.
