Gynecologist - Telemedicine - Healthcare Startup - MBBS/MD (2-15 yrs)

We are a digital health startup that's focused on improving access to healthcare for women.

Responsibilities:

- Develop screening criteria required to ensure the patient is eligible for telemedicine

- Reviewing patient profile to assess eligibility and have a preliminary clinical assessment

- Receive and review medical information, reports, images via the video-conferencing platform

- Provide medical consultations to patients remotely using a video-conferencing platform

- Conduct video-consultations in a quiet and professional setting with hi-speed & secure technical equipment

- Deliver medical care to patients experiencing a wide range of gynecological conditions

- Ensure standard of care and patient management similar to in-person care - discuss diagnosis/clinical assessment, prescribe medication, counsel on medication use, advice on what to expect when taking the medication, follow up, etc.

- Answer any questions asked by the patient and advice as necessary

- Demonstrate empathy and respect for all patients without any discrimination

- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

- Ensure safety and well-being of every patient at all times

- Document and prepare medical notes in the online platform

- Collaborate with the customer care team to respond to any questions from users regarding side effects, medication use, etc. after the consultation

- Attend mandatory in-house training on Telemedicine, including any web-based and other training programs

- Provide regular feedback and contribute actively to further develop services and platform

Requirements:

- MBBS & MD from an premier institute and registered with MCI

- Strong hands-on experience and expertise in women's health / gynecology / sexual & reproductive health. More specifically, contraception, emergency contraception, menstrual health, STI, UTI, vaginal health, etc.

- Valid medical indemnity insurance coverage

- Professional work attitude with dedicated approach to counselling and patient-centered care

- Assume responsibility for professional development and ongoing learning

- Ability to consult and counsel remotely via video calls

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Proficient in English, Hindi, and any other Indian language

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent Wi-Fi, computer, and mobile device for clear and professional communication with patients

- Willingness to work in a shift pattern including weekends

- Willingness to follow clinical protocols

- Flexibility and adaptability to changes
