Job Description :
To pursue professional excellence in the field of critical care and related sciences with special emphasis on research and clinical skills.
- As a critical care physician to provide superior health care and to make a positive difference in the life of each patient
- To contribute to the academic and educational progress of critical care therapy thereby improving the quality of health care.
Clinical skills :
- Ultrasound guided and traditional central venous and arterial cannulation.
- Endotracheal intubation.
- Bedside Cardiac and hemodynamic assessment by Echo, FAST
- Pulse Induced Continuous Cardiac Output monitoring and intervention
- USG guided pig tail catheterization for pleural effusion, and Ascitic tapping.
- Percutaneous tracheostomy
- Insertion of hemodialysis catheters.
- Transvenous pace maker insertion.
- Pulmonay Artery Catheter insertion.
- Intra-aortic ballon pump insertion and management
- Chests drain insertion.
- Balloon Tamponade
- Advanced ventillatory and HFOV management including prone ventilation.
- Bronchoalveolar lavage
- Itracranial pressure monitoring and management.
