Interventional Cardiologist - Hospital - MBBS/DM/DNB (1-11 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist (DM/DrNB) to join our team

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases and performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and catheter-based treatments.

- The role also involves patient management in outpatient and critical care settings, participation in cardiac camps, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty, coronary interventions, pacemaker implantation, etc.

- Manage acute cardiac emergencies, ICU/CCU patients, and pre/post-operative cardiac care. Interpret diagnostic tests like ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter, angiograms, etc.

- Collaborate with a team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.

- Participate in clinical audits, research, CME programs, and case discussions.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.

- Attend OPD and ward rounds regularly and provide consultation to referred cases.

- Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, recovery, and prevention.

Qualifications:

- DM/DrNB in Cardiology from a recognized medical institution.

- Valid registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.

- Proficiency in interventional cardiac procedures and patient management.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle emergency calls.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in radial and femoral access techniques.

- Competency in structural heart interventions is a plus.

- Research publications or teaching experience preferred.

Work Environment:

- State-of-the-art cath labs, cardiac ICU, and diagnostic facilities.

- Supportive administrative and nursing team.

- Multispecialty hospital with advanced infrastructure.
