Kauvery Hospital - Patient Service Officer (0-5 yrs)
- Be a link between the primary consultant, In-charge and the billing department.
- Note and make the list of vacant rooms and communicate to the Front Desk.
- Check the type of admission of the patient like MLC /Non MLC. Corporate patient etc., and maintain the record and intimate to the concerned department.
- On admission, check the affordability of the patients and make the room arrangements
- Receive the patient and ensure that the admission process is done completely.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area.
- Meet the patients every day in the assigned area and collect the feedback.
- Ensure that Probable Date of Discharge is entered in the case sheet.
- Explain to the attendant diet, visiting time pharmacy credit and the various rules and regulations pertaining to Hospital policy.
- Attend to the In-patients requirements and coordinate with nurses / doctors.
- In case of any problem in the ward report immediately to the Nursing In-charge, Manager - Operations, Manager - HR, General Manager.
- Explain the condition of the patient to the attendants and attend to their queries with the guidance of superiors.
- Assist with the discharge procedure, including discharge instructions.
- Identify training needs of self in coordination with Learning & Development team and ensure timely and effective undergoing of the programs.
- Pre OP and Post OP Counseling for all patients under going procedures/surgeries
- Feedback Collections and Analysis done for OP and IP patients
- Coordinating Emergency Cases with casualty and billing
- Post Discharge call was made to the patients
- Attending the regular rounds with the consultants and surgeons on daily basis.
- Identifying the Well Wishers Patient.
