Medical Officer ( Manager/ Asst Manager ) @ Bathinda, India

Our client is a large industrial house in Oil & Gas domain and they would like to fill-up following position asap for their petrochemical plant.

Position : Medical Officer ( Manager/ Asst Manager )

Location : Bathinda

Education : MBBS + AFIH ( Associate Fellow of Industrial Health ) Diploma

Experience : 4 - 18 years of medical experience in industrial environment

Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :

A. Candidate will be responsible for following activities:

- Day to Day Management of the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) assisting CMO along with the Paramedics.

- Carry out pre- employment & periodic medical examination of workers and employees. Identification of notifiable diseases (if any) as per the schedule II of the Factories Act.

- Ensure highest level of medical emergency preparedness at site.

- Conduct periodic health survey.

- Conduct training programme on Occupational health hazards for employees

B. Tasks to be executed :

- Ensure first aid care and BLS including emergency medical treatment, follow up treatment.

- Ensure all medical record upkeep & maintenance as per statutory requirement.

- Conduct Health promotional program.

- Provide emergency care to the employees in case of workplace related injuries, illness and exposure.

- Medical management at the OHC.

C. Candidate must be an MBBS with AFIH ( Associate Fellow of Industrial Health ) Diploma and 4-18 years of medical experience in industrial environment. This position will be in Manager/ Asst Manager Grade based on candidate experience. Position will report to the Chief Medical Officer ( CMO ).
