Manager - R&D - Pharmaceutical Firm (7-15 yrs)
We have opening at China with leading pharmaceutical company.
Our client was established in April 2009. It is one of the largest enterprises engaged in the R&D and production of peptide. Its main business covers R&D, production and sales of peptide, chemical and biological APIs and drug product as well as peptide for custom design, pharmaceutical intermediates processing and so on.
Job Responsibility :
R&D Manager is responsible for R&D activities in dosage forms for tablets and Injectables, etc.He/she will provide technical guidance and supervision in the R&D process to ensure the success of drug development through leading a group of chemists/engineers and conducting research activities in the lab by himself/herself.
Hirerachy ( Reporting to whom) :
The R&D Manager will report into the General Manager (R&D) or R&D Director, depending on the candidate's experience, etc. The R&D Scientist will report into the R&D Manager.
Team Handling :
For a small group, there will be about 3-5 chemists reporting to you. For a senior R&D Manager, about 20 chemists. For a R&D chemist, typically there will be no direct report, but may have some assistants.
Must have real R&D experience in dosage form, e.g. tablet or injectable, etc., e.g. at least 5 years for R&D manager, and 3 years for R&D scientist.
