Job Description :

- Responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the Operating Theatre.

- Provides leadership, staff development mentoring and resource management in the daily nursing operations of Operation Theatre.

- Ensures nursing clinical quality standards and practices are compiled, maintained and evaluated when necessary.

- Works closely with senior management, heads of department and doctors to ensure a high standard of nursing care and meet/exceed customers expectations.

- Develops the team leaders of Operation theatre to handle all activities under her guidance & supervision.

Administration :

- Formulating policies and processes in consultation with higher management

- Scheduling surgeries and allocation of OT slots

- Surgery billing & In patient issue of surgical cases

- Arrangement for prosthesis and implants in coordination with store

- Co-ordination with biomedical department for the in house maintenance, AMC & CMC of equipments

- Management of day to day functioning of OT

- Effective Inventory and Stores management.

- Interaction with CSSD and OT instrumentation

- Rota Scheduling of OT staff

- Accurate Record Maintenance

- Preparing monthly report of OT utilization

Clinical Management : 

- Pre op preparation of patient
 
- Post op monitoring

- Ensuring effective implementation of Infection control policies in OT.

- Establishment and monitoring cleaning protocol

- Surveillance of microbial load

- Maintaining strict aseptic discipline in the OT

- Arial disinfection and monitoring of HEPA filter status

- Supervising and implementing day to day functions of Operation theatre

Salary:INR 3,00,000 - 3,50,000 P.A. Best In the Industry
