Job Description : 

Privileges of Registrars : 

- Performs duties as per duty roaster and hands over the patients to the next doctor on call on the completion of his duty.

- Attend to casuality calls

- Help the consultants in the OPD areas.

- Completing admission formalities as per hospital policy.

- Attend to In-Patient calls

- Will provide training, supervison and support to residents

- Attend rounds with Consultants

- Coordinate with Nurses, Patient Care Coordinators to ensure Patient Care

- Comprehensive patient care in the respective department

- Will perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.

- Will attend rounds along with the consultant and assist in patient care.

- Attend to the patients in the in-patient areas and reports to the respective consultants.

- Ensures that there is a proper handover of patient information to the doctor who takes charge of the patient on completion of duties.

- Carries out the instructions of the Senior Colleagues/Consultants pertaining to the patients.

- Support for Operation Theatre procedures and pre and post Operative care for surgery speacialities

- In co-ordination with the nursing team explains the details of the advise on discharge to the patient as per the summary.

- Coordinates with the PCC in the preparation of the discharge summary of the patients and ensures that it is verified and approved by the consultant.

Salary : INR 9,00,000 - 9,50,000 P.A.
