Job Description : 

JOB PURPOSE :

- To take CT/MRI scans and X-rays or manage nonradioactive materials into blood stream of patient for diagnostic purposes.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Patient Care management : 

- Producing good quality scans as per the protocol and to do the post processing of the Angio and 3D Reconstructions.

- Assist with on-the-job training of new employees and Trainees; provide input to Supervisors regarding training performance.

- Determine patients scan needs by reading request or instructions form.

- Explain the procedures to Patients to reduce anxieties and obtain co-operation

- Preparation of the patients according to the test, Set up examination rooms

- Ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready.

- Key commands and data into computer, to document and specify scan sequences.

- Monitor patients conditions and reactions, report abnormal signs to Physician / Radiologist.

- Maintain records of tests performed and the no. of films printed.

- Monitor Equipment and Accessories and report malfunctioning of equipment to Supervisors/ Sr.manager.

- Review the images to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purpose,

- Consult the Chief Technologist / Radiologist if necessary.

- Assist the Radiologist while Performing C T guided Biopsy and other procedures.

- Use Radiation safety measures and MRI safety measures to ensure safety to patients and staff.

- Minimize spoilage of films and reduce patients waiting time.

Salary : INR 1,75,000 - 2,50,000 P.A. Best In the Industry

- DMRA/CRA/Diploma in Radiology

- 1-3 years of experience
