Location : Hyderabad
Qualification : MD Pharmacology is must.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously acquire and update necessary scientific knowledge on the therapeutic area and relevant compounds.
- Develop and implement the prioritized state-specific medical plan, including resource allocation to address unmet medical needs in government institutions, ensuring alignment with the brand plan.
- Represent the organization at various government institutions, including state health departments and bureaucratic bodies.
- Design and execute key strategies and tactics to establish long-term partnerships with government institutes and organizations critical for business.
- Collaborate and support the Innovations team in identifying, co-creating, and executing key initiatives/activities to address gaps in oncology, also partnering with the Innovations team.
- Engage with medical associations, societies, and patient support groups to improve disease area awareness, earlier identification, diagnosis, timely referral, treatment, and ensure incorporation of these algorithms into respective organizational clinical practice protocols.
- Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) to seek input for the development of institutional medical plans.
- Contribute to pre-launch medical activities for new products to address key clinical and scientific challenges specific to institutional business.
- Ensure timely, relevant, accurate, and scientifically balanced medical information is provided to both external and internal customers.
- Co-create and provide inputs to value dossiers for all approved indications, supporting their inclusion into respective institutional management protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Affairs for evidence generation, policy shaping, and access solutions.
- Initiate discussions around research, policy shaping, and guidelines development with customers to develop initiatives aligned with local business strategy.
- Provide medical input to clinical studies, real-world data generation, and global clinical trials.
- Identify unmet needs and build confidence through evidence generation, supporting efforts to maximize access to approved molecules in state health organizations and health schemes.
- Support market access activities shaping market understanding of disease, diagnosis, and treatment options.
Eligibility:
- Identify and segment Key External Experts (KEEs) according to their scientific interest and affiliations, develop engagement plans, and build networks and advocacy at government organizations, patient support groups, and government institutes.
- Spend 75% of time in the field engaging with priority healthcare professionals and key external stakeholders.
- Interact and engage with medical associations, societies, and patient support groups to drive change in clinical practice protocols.
- Collaborate with regional and Corporate Affairs teams to identify gaps in cancer management and support solutions.
- Support key initiatives in collaboration with the Innovations team.
- Support the creation of value dossiers for approved indications and their inclusion into institutional management protocols.
- Support clinical studies, real-world data generation, and global clinical trials by assisting with clinical site identification and patient recruitment.
- Prepare and deliver high-level medical science presentations at congresses, symposia, and scientific meetings.
- Contribute to the development of medical science literature by writing, editing, and publishing scientific articles and papers.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries with balanced and objective clinical/scientific information.
- Support the institutional team with medical science information and training.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and forward relevant new knowledge and insights about practices and management protocols to internal colleagues.
- Ensure understanding of relevant policies and standards.
