Job Description :

As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient coding of medical records and billing. While 12th-grade pass candidates are eligible to apply, selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive 6-month training program to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Medical Coding : Accurately assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services following industry-standard coding systems such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.

2. Documentation Review : Review medical records and clinical documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for coding purposes.

3. Compliance : Adhere to all coding guidelines, regulations, and compliance standards to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

4. Data Entry : Enter coded information into the healthcare facility's electronic health record (EHR) system or coding software.

5. Query Resolution : Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinicians to clarify discrepancies or obtain additional information when necessary.

6. Quality Assurance : Participate in regular quality audits to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

7. Continuing Education : Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and regulations through ongoing training and education.

8. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the billing department and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper reimbursement and claims processing.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 12th-grade education.

- Willingness to undergo a 6-month training program.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Training Program :
