Medical Coder - Anesthesia (2-9 yrs)
Medical Coders required with any one skill 2 years and above experience in QC as well as Medical Coder
- Pathology
- Cardiovascular Surgery
- Anesthesia
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Accounts for coding procedure notes and abstracting codes including and modifier from clinical notes.
- Expertise on a wide range of procedures.
- Ensure codes are accurate, active, and sequenced correctly in accordance with insurance regulations
- Follow up with the provider on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear and communicate with other clinical staff regarding documentation.
- Research for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual
- Review the patient's history for appending global modifiers.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and keep Patients PHI intact.
CPC Certification is must
