Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder (1-4 yrs)
Job Designation: Medical Coder / Sr. Medical Coder
Responsibilities:
- Review patient records and assigning ICD-10-CM and CPT codes on ED charts. Checking medical necessity and NCCI edits for assigning diagnosis and procedure codes. Review patient records and identify documentation issues and communicate it to the Supervisor.
- Maintaining the Higher accuracy levels in coding as well as in auditing. Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
- Basic Qualification: Should be from Life science background. Should have more knowledge on Human Anatomy. Basic awareness of Computer usage. Should have Good written & interpersonal skills. Should have strong analytical & technical problem solving skills.
