Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder - Surgery Speciality (2-8 yrs)
MEDICAL CODER/SR MEDICAL CODER - SURGERY SPECIALITY (2 to 8 years exp)
- Should have same day surgery (SDS)/ambulatory surgery (ASC) experience familier with 1 to 6 series
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding: Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes to outpatient surgical procedures based on medical records and physician notes.
Qualifications:
- Any Graduation preferably life science
- Certification: Certification from a recognized body (e.g., CPC, CCS, or CCA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience in medical coding, specifically in outpatient or same day surgery coding, is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures.
- Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
