Our client is a producer of superior quality products. Our client is the largest single location manufacturing facility in India with certifications of ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 along with other product specific certifications.

As a Medical Officer (Manager/ Sr Manager), you will manage the dispensary located in our factory, catering to company employees and patients from periphery areas as well.

You will be mainly responsible for Medical related CSR activities, pre-employment check-up, handing OPD and emergency are managed by this role.

What you will do:

- Day to Day Operations:

- Responsible for delegating tasks to Dispensary Agents and Patient/ customer Coordinators in order to maintain a compliant and clean facility

- Managing dispensary staff, schedules, inventory and patient/ customer relations

- Taking measure to ensure inventory control

-Overseeing orders and deliveries to ensure accurate order information and timeliness of deliveries

- Ensuring that drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufacturers- instructions

- Employee Checkups

- Conducting pre-employment medical check-up and submittng report to DGM-Medical Conduct periodic medical check up for employees

- CSR / Corporate governance

- Ensuring all planning and administrative related activities for camp and activities are properly arranged

- Organizing blood donation camps

-Conducting workshops for women on health, hygiene and menstrual

- OPD/ Emergency

- Handling OPD and emergency cases with two other medical officers

- Responding to all patient/ customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions and take action when necessary to resolve conflicts

- Handling the accident cases and inform relevant authorities as per the guidelines

- Handling the crowd in cases of emergency

- Documentation/ Compliance

- Regularly submitting reports of all OPD and emergency cases

- Preparing the relevant documents of medical cases and claims for insurance

- Maintaining accurate records of all dispensary activities including patient

- Occupational Health and safety Culture

-Organizing lectures on safety at the work premises

- Collaborating with Functional heads to conduct specific trainings

- Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks

- Reporting potential risks to Dy. GM-Medical

What you need to have:

- Experience of minimum 12 to 15 years in a manufacturing plant.

- Experience in pulp and fibre plants a plus

- Must have managed dispensary in plants and employee health

- Must have handled staff of pharmacists, ambulance workers and nursing staff of at least 10 members

- Experience of catering to 160 patients per day and 5-6 cases of emergency.

- Crowd handling and emergencies

- Have been part of or willing to be part of CSR activities

- Handled pharmacy, medical and other relevant material on timely basis

- Be able to train employees and other members about safety medical needs for workers
