Job Description :
- Judgments on seriousness and expectedness of an event based on the source document provided by the client.
- To judge the causality assessment between the suspect product and the reported adverse events and to establish whether a temporal relationship between events and suspect product exists.
- To prioritize the case based on SLA/Regulatory timelines.
- If the ICSR accurately reflect the medical information provided in the source documents as per medical knowledge.
- MedDRA coding of events and coding of drugs via drug dictionaries (company drug dictionary for company suspects and WHO drug dictionary for non-company suspects).
- For MedDRA codes, medical knowledge is required for accurate coding as well as familiarity with MedDRA conventions, hierarchy etc.
- Medical judgment implementation for ambiguous data and missing information (missing links about medical information while processing a case).
- To proceed with appropriate follow-up, additional and the right medical questions should be raised.
