Medical Specialist/Clinical Head - MBBS/MD (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key areas of accountability

- Lead the clinical team of the assigned city/region

- Responsible to drive a cross-functional team including sales, RT, nurses etc to drive up sales in assigned city/region

- KOL management - make physician aware of Philips service range and enroll them. Ensure periodic engagement with KOL's to continue business with them

- Enrol and maintain a bench of on call doctors, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech therapists for the region with complete ownership of screening, consultancy agreement, payment terms and timelines

- Mentor and coach regional sales team for better productivity

- Patient Assessments and formulation of care plan in discussion with the referring/primary physician

- Interface between the patient/family and the referring/primary physician

- Coordination with 3rd party partners for nursing requirements

- Weekly tele Rounds ; patient/family counselling

- Creating awareness of Patient's Rights and responsibilities

- Analyzing patient's feedback regarding - Medical Care- & discussing way forward to improve the same with Medical Director

- Strengthening the Medical audits

- Coordinating with nurse supervisor for optimum nursing care of patients.

- Monitor patients regularly for their clinical needs

- Liaise closely with Quality for implementation of newer SOPs/Forms/processes, etc.

- Supervise the care of vulnerable patients and the patients with High Fall Risks

- Ensure uninterrupted critical supply by Liaising with operations.

- Monitoring relevant quality indicators, reporting of incident reports/sentinel reports.

- Prompt grievance/complaint handling.

- Ensure availability of care providers needed for the patient, viz. respiratory therapist, physiotherapist, nurses, etc.

- Cross-functional coordination with sales and operations re patient enrolment

- Job Knowledge, Experience & Education

- Education Qualification:

MBBS/MD, Degree in Hospital Administration will be an added advantage.
