Position : Medical Superintendent

Job Location : Kenya

Educational Qualification : Essential - Medical Degree with MHA/MBA (Hospital Administration)

Required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in college and hospital

Main Responsibilities

- To effectively coordinate the recruitment process of Junior Doctors in association with Human Resources department.

- To conduct and facilitate organization, department orientation to all new recruits of the following categories Registrars, Residents, Jr Consultants, Medical Officers, Ward Doctors, etc.

- To ensure proper posting of doctors according to the needs.

- To be responsible for arranging the call duties.

- To assist in doctors personal records maintenance and compliance

- To coordinate the training programme of doctors with the Training Department.

- To facilitate periodical evaluation of doctors.

- To facilitate the performance evaluation process of doctors along with the Human Resources Department.

- To plan and conduct ACLS and BLS classes for doctors and other staffs and other training needs.

- To organize and facilitate conducting medical camps.

- To play an active role in all quality initiatives.

- To ensure NABH/JCIA compliance with reference to medical areas.

- To drive and implement Apollo data point entry initiative.

- To ensure adherence to service rules and discipline amongst doctors.

- To assist MS in medical operation and effectively among doctors.

- Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the MS and Management.

- To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives

- To be aware of departments performance and objective.

- To carryout data collection/support in data collection.

- To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.

- To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior
